She embodies the truth that “with God’s help, all things are possible,” through her gift of “inspiring others to fulfill their God-given purpose.”

A three-decade champion for education Dr. Starling has guided countless students and families to success in achieving their educational goals. For over twenty-five years within higher education leadership, she led support groups for youth and adults.

Dr. Starling believes that education is a privilege that everyone deserves.

Angela Starling is a graduate of Kennesaw State University, with a BS in Psychology; A Master’s Degree in Guidance Counseling Higher Education, State University of West Georgia; A Doctorate Degree in Higher Education Administration, The University of Alabama and a Master of Divinity, Payne Theological Seminary, Wilberforce, Ohio where she completed coursework in Biblical Theology, Doctrine, Old and New Testament as well as the core classes in Counseling Psychology.

Dr. Starling completed CPE/CPT Clinical Pastoral Education Program as Chaplain at Hamilton Health Care Systems and is accredited through the College of Pastoral Supervision and Psychotherapy (CPSP), 432 W. 32nd Street, Suite 2W, New York, N.Y. 10108. Her training integrates various aspects of theological education and behavioral sciences into a personal theology and professional style of ministry. She completed a clinical internship with a psychologist providing group therapy, family counseling, and individual counseling. Her area of interest include (but not limited to): individual pastoral counseling, family dynamics, anxiety, and anger issues.

Rev. Dr. Angela Starling has served for five years as a Pastor providing spiritual, emotional, and psychological care to congregants and their families within various districts throughout the Macon Georgia Annual Conference of the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AMEC).
